Season temperature:
Season humidity:
Date of 50% snow-cover:
Date of ice-break on rivers: late May
Date of final loss of snow: 1 June

BIOTIC CONDITIONS

Rodents abundance evaluation:

low

Breeding conditions:

Breeding density of buzzards was low, and only a single brood remained through all the period of observations. Snowy owls, Long-tailed and Arctic skuas were present, but didn't breed. Very few Arctic Foxes, no lemmings at all. High density had Ringed Plover and Temmink's Stint, average - Little Stint and Dotterel, low density - Golden Plover, Turnstone, Dunlin, Red-necked Phalarope. Judging by brood records success of reproduction was average for most waders.
